Because you can't get rid of L that easily.

Another crack!pic drawn after watching the Men In Black movie, and thinking "Heeeey...they have J and K, and Deathnote has L, M and N....hmm. "

...Laurel doesn't count. She's gone by the start of the second movie. There's room for another L.

It looks like the combined forces of the MIB still aren't enough to make L wear shoes, though. Or to make him neat. I think he exudes a permanent crumple field.

This pic was really annoying for me to colour, mainly because even with the brightness and contrast on my monitor turned up to 100 it's still pretty dark. So my shading was mainly done by guesswork and checking on my sister's computer. I'm still not completely happy with it, but it'll do. Please C&C if you think something needs tweaking, though.

Also, if you can tell what L's holding, you a) have very good eyesight, and b) win Deathnote fandom geek points. And possibly a cookie.
